Cancellation & Refund Policy

Pixel Academy courses are digital products delivered instantly. Please read this policy carefully before enrolling.

Short version: All course enrollments are final and non-refundable. Every course gives you Module 1 for free so you can evaluate the content, teaching style, and labs before paying for the full course.

1. Scope

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all paid course enrollments made on Pixel Academy, operated by Creative Pixels ("we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms of Service. By completing a payment you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

2. Why we don't offer refunds

Pixel Academy courses are digital goods delivered immediately on successful payment. The full course — all modules, labs, quizzes, downloadable resources, and certificate eligibility — is unlocked in your account the moment your payment is confirmed. Once unlocked, the content cannot be "returned" in any meaningful sense.

To protect you as a buyer, we offer something better than a refund: free access to Module 1 of every course before you pay.

3. Try before you buy — Module 1 is always free

Every paid course on Pixel Academy includes a free first module. You can:

  • Read all lessons in Module 1 without creating an account
  • Take the Module 1 quiz
  • Try the Module 1 interactive lab
  • Experience the Gini AI voice teacher
  • Review the full course syllabus, module list, and estimated duration

This gives you everything you need to decide whether the course is right for you before any money changes hands.

4. Cancellation policy

Because enrollment grants immediate lifetime access, there is no "subscription" to cancel. You may simply choose to stop using the course at any time — your enrollment will remain active should you wish to return.

5. No refunds — except in the following exceptional cases

We will review refund requests only in these limited situations:

5.1 Duplicate payment

If you were charged twice for the same course due to a technical error on our side or on the payment gateway's side, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.

5.2 Technical failure preventing access

If a verified technical issue on our platform prevents you from accessing a course you paid for, and we are unable to resolve it within 14 days of your report, we will refund the enrollment.

5.3 Unauthorised payment

If you can show — via a bank or card-issuer dispute process — that the payment was made fraudulently from your account without your consent, we will cooperate with the chargeback process. Please contact us first before initiating a chargeback; it is usually faster to resolve directly.

5.4 Course permanently withdrawn

If we permanently remove a course from the Platform within 30 days of your purchase and do not provide an equivalent replacement, we will refund your enrollment pro-rata.

6. How to request a refund (exceptional cases only)

  1. Email connect@creativepixels.in with the subject "Refund Request — [Course Name]"
  2. Include: your full name, registered email, order ID, payment date, course name, and a detailed description of the issue.
  3. Attach any screenshots or supporting evidence (payment receipt, error screenshots).
  4. Send within 7 days of the event giving rise to the refund (e.g. duplicate payment date).

7. Review and processing time

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and share a decision within 7 business days. If approved, refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7-14 business days, depending on your bank. Transaction fees charged by the payment gateway (if any) may be deducted.

8. Non-refundable items

Unless covered by Section 5 above, we do not refund:

  • Completed courses (any progress past Module 1)
  • Partially watched or partially completed courses
  • "Change of mind" after enrollment
  • Courses you have not started using within a certain time
  • Issues caused by your own device, network, or incompatible browser
  • Issues caused by sharing your credentials with another person
  • Certificate re-issuance fees (if any)

9. Chargebacks

Please contact us directly before raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank. Unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension of your account and forfeiture of course access. We are committed to resolving legitimate issues fairly and quickly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Purchases made under a previous version remain governed by the policy in effect on the date of purchase.
